Thanks to sweepstakes spammers, my website contest is now run through my password protected blog. I'll award prizes at random to blog visitors who leave a comment in any of the contest month(s)'s blog entries. My blog launch parties are webwide famous, and everyone has a blast. Here are some helpful hints to get my newbie bloggers started:

I run my blog through blogspot. I'm currently letting anyone leave a comment whether they're registered with blogspot or not. This may change at any moment, if I begin to get spammed again.

To leave a comment:

Scroll to the bottom of any post to the Leave your comment box. Type in your comment.

Scroll to the Choose an identity section. If you're logged into blogspot, you can select your log in name. You can chose to enter another name, or you can comment Anonymously.

Scroll down to the word verification section--that's what seperates us from the spammers, my friends. Enter the random, squiggly-looking letters as they appear on the comment page.

Click Publish Your Comment.
